I strongly suggest that you join the PJSIP mailing list. There is a lot
of activity going on, and as the library is not yet packaged in any
major distribution, I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of people
interested by this project. Benny Prijono, the creator and main
developer, is answering questions actively. 

Also there is francois at debian.org who is also working to build a debian
package for PJSIP, and SFLPhone. He might give you some tips on how to
deal with PJSIP.

I think it would be better if PJSIP could be maintained independently of
SFLPhone. It's kind of a heavy job for us to carry it in our source
code. Also, if we apply those patches, I fear that it might break under
some other distros.
