Hi,
I've recently discovered SFLphone and it looks very promising. I like
support for IAX2 and SIP, nice interface, but at the first place an
architecture with daemon backend and pluggable clients.
Unfortunately I had a few problems to make it works (0.9.5) or even
build and I have a few suggestions/questions.
1. I had a problem to find sources for 0.9.6-rc2 version. There were
only compiled packages for it. Where is it available?
2. Is it pjproject-1.0.1 included in sources a special/modified version
of that project? Or normal/vanilla 1.0.1 (or maybe later version?) could
be used as well? Ability to use external sources is could be important
to make "native" packages for other Linux distributions (e.g. Fedora).
3. There should be a phone number (in readme file or added as a contact)
to call on it after installation and hear some voice message that your
client successfully connects to a server or even to use an "echo"
service (to test your microphone and speakers) on sflphone server. I
wasn't able to find it.
Regards
Marcin
